RealD format conversion PODs convert one stereoscopic format to a different output format.

Overview
The RealD Professional Dual Input POD will synchronize and merge two independent video streams into a single Checkerboard (CB) format for either Dual Channel or Stereo3D viewing on a 3D enabled DLP® TV. The merged image is made up of each original image, offset. Wearing RealD Active Eyewear, the viewer may see each independent stream through Dual Channel, or a true Stereo3D full-screen image, using RealD Professional CrystalEyes 3 & 5 eyewear*. An ideal solution when used with RealD Professional DLP® TV Kits, and Plug and Play design means no time wasted setting up.

If only a single HDMI input is active and the content is in the RealD format, it is converted into CB format. Alternatively, the content is not modified, unless manual override is used for Side-by-side (SbS)-CB conversion.

Video timing and resolution always follows input timing and resolution of Port A (regardless of format).

Output delay is 14msec for single input and about 1 frame or less for dual input (as governed by input offset).
